Chrysalis

Chrysalis is a contemporary two-act drama set inside Bright Valley Recovery and Retreat Center during its final days before shutdown. As patients and staff cling to routine before being reassigned, a new arrival — known only as Bill — becomes a source of curiosity, tension, and moral uncertainty for Troy, a counselor in recovery. Tragedy strikes the unit, the fragile bonds of community are tested and Bill's past is finally revealed.

Blending humor, heartbreak, and highlighting the human condition, Chrysalis examines addiction, survivor’s guilt, institutional failure, and the uneasy hope of leaving the chrysalis and becoming someone new.
