The Roxbury Performing Arts Center Project has two primary objectives:

1.  To stimulate arts activities in Roxbury Township, NJ
2.  To create a new Performing Arts Center (RoxPAC)

These objectives are pursuant to the Roxbury Township Arts Vision Statement and Plan and the Roxbury Arts Strategic Implementation Plan. Please contact us at roxpac@roxburyartsalliance.org for more information and/or copies of the Arts Vision Statement and Plan or the Strategic Implementation Plan.
Plans are underway to renovate existing space in the Roxbury Township Recreation Building to create a Performing Arts Center with a theater just off of Horseshoe Lake.  A private fundraising campaign is underway to fund this project.  Join us in creating this historic facility for Roxbury!

The following new programs are planned for the near future in Roxbury:

1.  Aspiring Artist Series:  this will be combined with our Summer Concerts
2.  Theatre Alliance Program:  we're working with regional theatre organizations to bring their programming to Roxbury
3.  Acting/Comedy Classes:  teachers are ready to work with young and old alike to help them enjoy the fun of performing
4. Family Entertainment Events: concerts and performances that appeal to families

The RoxPAC project involves renovating space in the Roxbury Recreation Building at 72 Eyland Ave.  Renovations are scheduled to begin in early 2009.
